This year the Tour de France is not governed by the UCI, and all the anti doping efforts are being run by the AFLD, which is the french version of US Anti Doping Agency. I think that this is really good. Unfortunately it will probably cause more pain for the sport of cycling, but i think be good in the long run.

The news link below, says that 20 riders at the Tour had hematocrit at the 50% limit. So instead of turning a blind eye to this, like the UCI has probably done in the past, the AFLD is going after those riders. And one got caught and booted today.

So i hope all the guys, who dope to get themselves right up to the limits, get caught, it will be horrible for my cycling career, and maybe end it earlier than i want because it will give us a lot of bad press, and possibly scare away sponsors, but it might finally send a message to the dirty riders that they cant do it anymore.
